Elderado founder, Daniel Clarke, got his first exposure to the process of finding elder care when his Grandma, Marnie Ellis, was hospitalized with lupus.

“It was already a very stressful time for the family, which was made even more stressful when we were told the hospital was not the right place for my Grandma - we needed to find an appropriate long-term care residence or retirement home. Instead of spending time at my Grandma's bedside, my family needed to learn everything we could about the elder care landscape - long-term care vs. retirement homes, what are the costs, what care services are provided, availability, and more. This was all new for my family, and we knew it was a decision that would have a profound impact on my Grandma's quality of life.”
