Peel Manor is a 148-bed long-term care home that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents who require 24-hour nursing and personal care. With a combination of 48 private beds and 100 basic beds, the residence is designed to accommodate diverse care needs while ensuring that each individual receives the attention and medical oversight they deserve. Access to a doctor and a range of health professionals is readily available, promoting continuous health management and personalized care. The home offers a comprehensive array of essential services that include bedding and furniture, laundry and housekeeping, meals, personal hygiene supplies, and medical equipment such as catheters, ostomy bags, and wound-care supplies. Staff members are dedicated to assisting residents with medication management and all activities of daily living, which helps maintain their dignity and quality of life. Engaging recreation and social programs are also available, enriching the residents' experiences and fostering a sense of community. In addition to core services, Peel Manor features a variety of additional supports to enhance the well-being of its residents. These include dental care, foot care, hairdressing, pastoral care, and physiotherapy. The Adult Day Program offers social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults, providing valuable support for family caregivers who manage day-to-day care. The Transitional Behavioural Support Unit (TBSU) comprises 29 beds, further addressing the diverse needs of residents requiring specialized behavioral support.
