Our History

Knollcrest Lodge was established in 1972 as a charitable, not-for-profit Home for the Aged to provide high-quality long-term care. Located in Milverton, Perth County, we have been a trusted partner in elder care for over five decades.

From 2006 to 2008, our Home underwent a complete redevelopment to ensure our facilities meet the unique needs of all 80 residents. Our bright, spacious resident rooms are complemented by private spaces where families can visit, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

Residents’ Councils

Monthly Residents’ Council Meetings:

• Review the Residents’ Bill of Rights.

• Vote for a Residents’ Meal Choice and special events each month.

• Three nutritious meals daily with multiple options.

• Three snack breaks offering a variety of choices.

• Regular consultations with a dietitian to meet dietary needs.

• Special meals for residents with unique dietary requirements.

• Opportunities to dine with family and friends through guest meal bookings.

Residents also have a say in their dining experience through Residents’ Council meal requests and monthly vote-in menu selections.

Nursing & Personal Care

Knollcrest Lodge provides compassionate and professional nursing care, ensuring residents receive the highest quality of support.

Care Features:

• 24/7 care by a Registered Nurse.

• Accommodation options include private, semi-private, and basic rooms for 80 residents.

• Regular visits from in-house physicians and nurse practitioners.
