Secord Trails Care Community is an 80-bed long-term care home that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents requiring 24-hour nursing and personal care. The residence offers a variety of accommodations, including private, semi-private, and basic rooms, ensuring that each individual can find a comfortable space tailored to their needs. Access to a doctor and a team of health professionals ensures that residents receive comprehensive medical oversight and personalized attention. Residents at Secord Trails benefit from essential services such as bedding, furniture, laundry, housekeeping, meals, and personal hygiene supplies. The dedicated staff assist with medication management and activities of daily living, promoting dignity and independence. A range of recreation and social programs is available, enriching residents' lives through engagement and companionship. This includes opportunities for music and art therapy, drum circles, gardening programs, and fitness activities, all designed to foster a vibrant community atmosphere. In addition to long-term care, Secord Trails offers a short-stay bed for female residents in need of respite care, allowing caregivers temporary relief while ensuring that these residents receive the same quality of services as long-stay individuals.
