Kensington Village is a 78-bed long-term care home that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents requiring 24-hour nursing and personal care. The residence offers a variety of accommodation options, including private and basic rooms, ensuring that each individual’s needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Residents benefit from access to a doctor and a team of health professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive medical oversight and personalized care. Essential services at Kensington Village include bedding and furniture, laundry and housekeeping, meals, personal hygiene supplies, and medical equipment such as catheters, ostomy bags, and wound care supplies. Staff members are committed to assisting residents with medication management and all activities of daily living, promoting dignity and comfort in every aspect of life. The home also features a range of recreation and social programs designed to enhance residents’ quality of life and encourage meaningful engagement. In addition to long-term care, Kensington Village offers two interim care beds for hospital patients awaiting long-stay admission, ensuring that these residents receive the same high standard of services as those in long-term care. The home provides additional services such as palliative care, physiotherapy, foot care, and access to a beauty salon and tuck shop. Pastoral care is also available, reflecting the home’s commitment to addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of its residents.
