Almonte Country Haven is a 96-bed long-term care home that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents requiring 24-hour nursing and personal care. The residence features a variety of accommodations, including private rooms, semi-private rooms, and basic beds, ensuring that each individual receives the level of care that best suits their needs. Access to a doctor and a team of health professionals facilitates ongoing medical oversight, while dedicated staff assist residents with daily living activities and medication management, promoting dignity and comfort. The home is equipped with essential services such as bedding, laundry, housekeeping, meals, and personal hygiene supplies. Notably, Almonte Country Haven offers specialized support through its serenity room, designed for palliative residents and their families, as well as unique resident programs that include music therapy and an aquarium, enhancing the quality of life for all who reside there. The community also emphasizes recreational and social programs, fostering engagement and connection among residents. Originally built in 1981, the home is currently undergoing renovations to enhance its facilities. A new two-storey addition opened in January 2023, while part of the original structure remains operational, accommodating 16 residents. The residence is fully air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere, and features secure coded access doors for enhanced safety. Although pets are not permitted to stay on-site, the home has a clear policy for pet visitation, allowing residents to enjoy the comfort of animal companionship. Almonte Country Haven is committed to providing compassionate care tailored to the diverse needs of its residents.
