Manoir Marochel is a private 64-bed long-term care facility that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents requiring 24-hour nursing care. The facility is thoughtfully organized into two wings, each accommodating 32 beds, ensuring a comfortable and engaging atmosphere. Built in 2002, the home features a main floor layout with a lower level chapel, and it is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning throughout the entire facility. The residence offers a range of room types, including private, semi-private, and basic shared accommodations, each designed to meet the diverse needs of its residents. Essential amenities such as ensuite bathrooms, elevated toilet seats, and emergency call systems are available to ensure comfort and safety. The home also features a wander management system and conducts nightly resident checks, providing an additional layer of security and peace of mind for families. Special programs, including a Behavioral Support Program and a Psychogeriatric Program in partnership with the Royal Ottawa, are in place to cater to residents with specific needs. Dining at Manoir Marochel is a communal experience, with a central dining area and family dining options available. The facility accommodates cultural diets and offers meal tray service for residents who may be unwell. Residents can enjoy a secure courtyard and garden, as well as an outdoor enclosed patio deck, enhancing their connection to nature. A variety of recreational services, including a therapy pet visiting program, hairdressing, and entertainment options, are offered to promote engagement and well-being.
