PeopleCare Meaford LTC is a 128-bed long-term care home that offers a nurturing and supportive environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of its residents. The residence is thoughtfully organized into four 32-bed areas, providing both private and basic accommodations. With 24-hour nursing and personal care available, residents benefit from continuous medical oversight, ensuring their health and well-being are prioritized at all times. Access to a doctor and a team of health professionals further enhances the level of care, allowing for personalized attention and support. The home provides a comprehensive range of essential services, including bedding and furniture, laundry and housekeeping, meals, personal hygiene supplies, and medical equipment such as catheters, ostomy bags, and wound-care supplies. Staff members are dedicated to assisting residents with medication management and all activities of daily living, promoting dignity and comfort. In addition to these core services, PeopleCare Meaford LTC offers a variety of recreation and social programs designed to enrich residents' lives and foster community engagement. Additional services available at the residence include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, restorative care, and activation therapy, as well as social work and dietitian services. Residents also have access to palliative care, foot care, and hairdressing services, enhancing their overall quality of life. The home features inviting outdoor patios and gardens, hydro sound and whirlpool tubs for relaxation, and a library for leisure and learning. Pastoral care is also provided, ensuring that residents' spiritual needs are met.
