About Us

Opulife Home Care is a nurse-led home care provider dedicated to helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and independently in the place they call home. We provide compassionate personal support, nursing, dementia care, post-hospital recovery, palliative care, and specialized attendant care services, with every client supported by a Nurse Care Manager who oversees their care journey. Our team is committed to delivering reliable, relationship-focused care that gives clients and their families confidence, peace of mind, and the support they need to thrive at home.

Levels of Care

Opulife Home Care provides personalized, non-medical home care services designed to help individuals live safely and independently at home. Whether someone requires a few hours of support each week or comprehensive daily care, our team tailors every care plan to meet their unique needs. We support clients with: - Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers) - Companionship and social engagement - Dementia and Alzheimer's care - Stroke recovery support - Post-hospital and post-surgical recovery - Palliative and end-of-life care - Medication reminders and wellness monitoring - Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living assistance - Acquired brain injury (ABI) and spinal cord injury support - Motor vehicle accident (MVA) attendant care - Respite care for family caregivers - Accompaniment to medical appointments, community outings, and special events Every client begins their care journey with one of our Nurse Care Managers, who completes an initial assessment, develops a personalized care plan, introduces the assigned caregiver, and provides ongoing oversight to ensure care continues to meet the client's evolving needs.

Approach to Care

At Opulife Home Care, we are an independent, relationship-driven community home care provider. As a nurse-founded organization, every client's care is managed by one of our Nurse Care Managers, allowing us to support complex and evolving care needs while helping people remain safely at home for longer. We see ourselves as more than a service provider. We are a partner in care. Whether you're recovering from a life-changing injury, living with a progressive condition, or supporting a loved one through changing care needs, our team is here to provide exceptional care, expert guidance, and compassionate support every step of the journey.

Care Team

Every client's care is managed by one of our Registered Nurse Care Managers, who develops the care plan, oversees service delivery, and provides ongoing clinical oversight throughout the client's care journey. Our frontline care is delivered by certified Personal Support Workers (PSWs). We take great care in selecting our team through a comprehensive, multi-stage hiring process that includes behavioural and personality assessments, a vulnerable sector check, multiple professional reference checks, and thorough verification of credentials and employment documentation. We then thoughtfully match each caregiver to a client based on their care needs, personality, preferences, and schedule to foster strong, lasting relationships.

Our goal is to make getting started as simple and supportive as possible. 1. Initial Conversation: We begin with a phone call to learn about your situation, answer your questions, and discuss how Opulife may be able to support you. 2. Care Consultation (Optional): If we're a good fit, we'll recommend the most appropriate level of care. For clients with more complex or evolving needs, we offer a complimentary in-home or virtual care assessment with one of our Nurse Care Managers. 3. Personalized Care Plan: Using the information gathered, we develop a personalized care plan and thoughtfully match you with a caregiver who best fits your needs and preferences. 4.
