Qualicare's 360° Approach looks at the whole person and the whole family, not just a list of tasks. We integrate personal care, health needs and family well-being into one plan, and we take time to match each client with a vetted caregiver who fits their personality, interests and care needs. We keep that caregiver consistent wherever possible, so your loved one feels comfortable and you can trust who's coming through the door.
Care Team
Our Waterloo Region team includes Personal Support Workers (PSWs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and a foot care specialist, supported by our local Care Coordinator. Our team speaks English, French, German and Spanish. We're also introducing carefully selected senior-friendly technologies to support safety, engagement, wellness and independence at home.
Certifications, Licenses & Training
Most of our team is trained in dementia and Alzheimer's care. Every nurse is registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, every team member completes a criminal record check before meeting a client, and all caregivers are employees covered by WSIB. Qualicare is a member of the Canadian Home Care Association.
