Approach to Care
Our West Toronto location is led by an RN who serves as your Care Expert, meeting your loved one, building the care plan and staying your main point of contact as needs change. Through Qualicare's 360° Approach, your Care Expert looks at the whole picture, from health and daily routines to social life and family support, so care fits the way your loved one actually lives. We also value clear communication and collaboration with families and other members of the client’s care team.
Care Team
Our care team may include Personal Support Workers (PSWs), caregivers, Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs), depending on the client’s needs and the required level of care. Caregivers are carefully selected and matched based on the client’s care requirements, personality, preferences, schedule, and compatibility. Our goal is to provide consistent caregivers whenever possible, helping clients feel comfortable and build trusting relationships with their care team.
Certifications, Licenses & Training
Our team is trained in dementia care, palliative care, infection prevention and control, safe transfers, fall prevention and medication assistance. We are a member of the Canadian Home Care Association.
