About Us
Gardens of Wasaga Beach is the premier retirement home in the Wasaga Beach region. The Gardens of Wasaga Beach is designed to feel like home, not because it looks like where you live now but because it’s a place where people are good to each other, there’s fun to be had, friends to make and great days to be enjoyed. Like home, you’ll wake up every day and decide what’s going to make this day a great day for you, your choices, your life, your home. The partnership that brings the Gardens to Wasaga Beach has almost a hundred years of experience in retirement living. Our goal is to use that experience, get it right and by that, we mean, get it right for you.
Levels of Care
Your health changes over the course of your life; sometimes quickly and sometimes over a longer period of time. We’ll offer as much or as little service and care, as you need over time. Our care staff will be aware of your situation and provide you with the services that you need, when you need them. For couples, we understand that your individual needs may be different. At the Gardens, we will do our utmost to keep couples together providing the individual level of care that each spouse requires.
Accommodation Options
You can choose a studio, a one bedroom or one bedroom with a den; whatever style of suite works best for you.
Support Services
We also believe that we should arrange for as many services as possible to come to you. When the services come to you then you never have to arrange transportation. You simply walk down the hall to access these services. Our professional hair stylist will keep you looking good. Physiotherapy services from assessment to treatment are available on site. A Dental Hygienist is on site regularly to keep you smiling brightly. Personal training is available for individual training regimens.
Amenities
Find a warm seat in the sun, discover an engaging book in the library, be entertained in the theatre, host your family and friends in the private dining room or find quiet solitude in your suite. The Gardens offers you a wide range of private space and social space. You determine the private space, the suite that works best for you and remember, all of the amenity space is there for your use as well.
Activities
On the main floor there’s places to go, things to do and people to see. Want some company watching a movie? Feel like playing billiards or shuffleboard or a hand of cards? You decide, you can be as private or as social as you choose. Improving your health is also one of our objectives. Our strengthening program focuses on restoring and enhancing your mobility, balance and strength.
Dining
Terrific meals consist of three things: they taste fantastic, they’re nutritious and they come with good conversation. We’re very aware that meals can be the highlight of the day and so can the conversation that goes with it. You’ll have a say in who you enjoy your meals with and you’ll also have a say in what the menu looks like. Our objective is to have you looking forward to delicious meals every day. Our dining room is a lovely place to come and eat, it’s also home to our private dining room that’s available to you, your family and friends. For any occasion, we’re happy to work with you to make you the perfect host for family and friends.
