History

McGill Manor was opened in 2002 and expanded in 2009. We now operate two buildings in order to provide our residents with the best possible service.

McGill Manor is a large family-oriented home that prioritizes community life and adapts to the needs of autonomous and semi-autonomous retired seniors who are looking for both comfort and security. It is the ideal home for those who wish to get the most out of their golden years.

McGill Manor provides a vibrant living environment, thanks to our dynamic activities and recreation department! All of our activities are adapted to the specific needs of our residents. We pay particular attention to balance in our recreational program in terms of promoting the well-being of all of our residents.

You will enjoy our table service, delivered by our courteous and smiling staff. All of our meals comply with the recommendations of Canada’s Food Guide.

You can also enjoy wonderful, magnificent meals with your loved ones for birthdays and special occasions, including Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day.

Varied Menus

Our cooks prepare small dishes with attention, always committed to the well-being of our residents. The menus are varied, and always include a choice of soup, main course, and dessert. 🍲

At McGill Manor, your health is our priority, which is why we offer a wide range of adapted care services:

• Care dispensed by a qualified staff, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

• Care attendant, 24 hours per day

• Blood pressure and weight checks

• Blood sugar checks

• Insulin injections

• Medical chart maintenance

• Monitoring of medication

• Management of prescriptions with pharmacies

• Foot care

• Assistance for personal care

• Special baths

• Shower for wheelchairs 🚿

In addition, our recreation committee, which includes residents, proposes new activities on a regular basis to ensure our community stays vibrant and engaging.
