Lord Dufferin Centre Retirement Residence is family owned and operated, offering 76 uniquely-designed private suites, complemented with a host of on-site amenities and services. Surrounded by mature trees and serene pathways, it is located on the site of Orangeville’s first hospital, built in 1907. The residence enjoys the advantage of proximity not only to the shops and services locally but also countless features of its own. Family owned and operated since 1998, it is well established in the community with a strong reputation for providing exceptional services.

Accommodation Options
Lord Dufferin Centre offers a range of suite designs from bedsitting/studio units to deluxe one-bedroom suites, with kitchenettes. Suites feature wall-to-wall low pile carpet, window blinds and drapes, individual climate control, cable TV and phone outlets, mirrored closet doors, and a help call emergency response system. Bathrooms are equipped with comfort height toilets, vanities with storage, medicine cabinets, safety grab bars, and removable shower heads. Heat, hydro, and water are included.
Support Services
Lord Dufferin Centre offers assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, dressing, and undressing. Medication management, mobility assistance to and from meals, and personal laundry services are available. Weekly blood pressure monitoring, physiotherapy, hairdressing, barber services, and aesthetic services are also provided. The residence features a 24-hour staff monitoring and a help call emergency response system.

The residence boasts a variety of amenities including a Dental Clinic, Wellness Room, Café, and Hair Salon on-site. There are spacious lounges, a fitness room, games area, theatre room, library, café, activity hall, and hobby room. Residents have access to outdoor walking paths with seating areas, a chapel for all denominations, and a fully equipped fitness area. The building is fully sprinklered and offers ample parking for residents and visitors.

For special occasions, the Private Dining Room accommodates up to 16 people. Family and friends are welcome to join for meals.
