About Us
Nestled in a quiet area of western Toronto, the Harold & Grace Baker Centre is a Seniors Retirement Community which offers assisted living in 92 private suites on four floors and 120 licensed long-term care beds in two separate single-story wings. The Baker Centre is distinctive in that it is both a Retirement Residence and a Long-Term Care Home. Opened in 1984, the Baker Centre is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The staff are employees of the Baker Centre and are professionally managed by Extendicare Inc., one of Canada’s leading providers of seniors’ accommodation, care and services.
