About Us

Landmark provides care and services for residents who are waiting for long-term care placement, those needing respite stays when available, and individuals living with mild dementia. The residence offers a supportive and welcoming environment where residents are encouraged to stay active and engaged. There are 4 one-bedroom suites, 2 studio suites, and 32 bedsitting rooms. All rooms and suites include a private bathroom. Residents can choose from two service packages: Independent Plus and Assisted Living, depending on their care needs. The team works closely with residents and families to create a comfortable, inclusive community where everyone feels at home.

Levels of Care

Landmark offers two main service packages: Independent Plus For residents who want independence with added support and services available when needed. Assisted Living For residents who require more daily support, including help with personal care and health needs. The residence also supports residents awaiting long-term care placement and offers respite stays when space is available. Mild dementia care is available. Specialized care areas include wound care, continence care, falls prevention, chronic disease management, end-of-life care, and dementia care.

Accommodation Options

The residence offers: 4 one-bedroom suites 2 studio suites 32 bedsitting rooms All accommodations include a private bathroom. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms with furniture, photos, and personal items to make the space feel like home.

Studio Suites

Studio suites offer a private space with a bathroom and room for personal furnishings. They are suitable for residents who prefer a compact and manageable living space.

1-Bedroom Suites

The one-bedroom suites provide a separate bedroom area along with a private bathroom, offering additional privacy and space.

Support Services

A large, dedicated team supports residents’ health and daily needs, including: Registered Nurses Registered Practical Nurses / Licensed Practical Nurses Personal Support Workers / Health Care Aides Physicians Social Workers Registered Dietitians Recreation Program Leaders and Certified Activity Aides Cooks, including Red Seal Chefs Laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative staff The residence also works with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dentists, podiatrists, and beauticians. Some specialized services may involve additional fees. Residents and families participate in developing individualized care plans, and care needs are reviewed regularly.

Meals are prepared by cooks, including certified Red Seal chefs, and are planned with input from Registered Dietitians. The focus is on balanced, nutritious meals that meet residents’ health needs. Dietary needs are supported as part of each resident’s care plan.
