Highview Residences is designed to mirror the warmth and familiarity of a traditional home:

• Our residence is divided into small communities called cottages, each housing 12 to 14 residents

• Every cottage features private and common spaces that foster social connection while providing areas for quiet reflection

• Common areas include a cozy kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room

• Each cottage has a private, secure garden with circular walking paths, seating areas, and spaces where residents can participate in gardening

Private, Personalized Living Spaces

Each resident enjoys:

• A private bedroom (167 sq. ft.) with a fully accessible ensuite bathroom

• The opportunity to furnish their space with their own furniture, art, books, and personal mementos, creating a warm, familiar retreat

• A layout and design that supports independence and comfort, while making it easier for care professionals to provide personalized assistance

• Care is tailored to meet the unique physical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of each resident

• The cottage model allows our team to provide individualized attention, encourage meaningful engagement, and reduce feelings of confusion or isolation

• Our environment is designed to help residents remain as independent as possible for as long as possible

Palliative and End-of-Life Care

• Palliative care can be provided within the residence for any resident

• We collaborate with Community Palliative Care Teams, family doctors, nursing staff, and substitute decision makers to ensure comfort, dignity, and compassionate support at every stage
