About Us
HomeStretch Active Living provides personalized in-home kinesiology and personal training for seniors across Ontario. Our Registered Kinesiologists specialize in post-surgical rehabilitation, fall prevention training, strength and balance, mobility, and healthy aging. Whether you're recovering from a hip or knee replacement, looking to improve confidence while walking, or simply want to stay active as you age, we're here to help you move with strength, safety, and confidence.
Levels of Care
We specialize in in-home post-surgical rehabilitation, fall prevention, and personal training for seniors, delivered by Registered Kinesiologists. Our services also support older adults living with arthritis, osteoporosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, joint replacements, chronic pain, balance and mobility challenges, frailty, and general age-related weakness.

Our Registered Kinesiologists provide one-on-one, in-home care that is compassionate, personalized, and grounded in the science of healthy aging. We take the time to understand each person's story, adapting every program to their unique needs, whether they're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply wanting to stay strong and independent. Our goal is to help every client move with greater confidence while giving families peace of mind that their loved one is receiving expert, specialized care.

Registration means our practitioners have met rigorous education, competency, and professional standards, maintain continuing education, carry professional liability insurance, and are accountable to a regulated governing body. For families, this provides confidence that your loved one is receiving safe, evidence-based care from qualified healthcare professionals.

Initial Assessment Overview HomeStretch Active Living
Every new client begins with a comprehensive 60-minute in-home assessment conducted by a Registered Kinesiologist. We review medical history, current health conditions, medications, previous surgeries, falls history, and personal goals. We then assess strength, balance, mobility, gait, posture, flexibility, and functional movements used in daily life. We also identify potential fall risks within the home environment. Based on our findings, we develop a personalized exercise and rehabilitation plan tailored to the client's abilities, goals, and healthcare recommendations. We take the time to answer questions and ensure both the client and their family feel confident in the plan moving forward.
